The Trenches
They are the no man's lands, the place left and and abandoned to the tigers... and the dogs. Once a place wracked with earthquakes and war, large rips upon the ground, the trenches, now spring into marsh. A gorgeous haven, animals now flock here to for what some is the last vestiges of their habitat.
Dholes, better known as asiatic wild dogs, have begun to come to Trench and make home here. Now as packs begin to emerge, who will rule Trench? Can they truly survive in the ruins, or are the red dogs just doomed to extinction?

Um, dholes?
Yeah, it's not something people rp. Ever. But we felt this animal should get some time to shine-- in many ways it's better suited to rping for the average person than wolves are, since their alphas aren't the only ones to breed, their packs can and do form alliances with each other, and there is no or little sexual dimorphism (meaning big females and tiny males can be played, yay).
I'd really.. prefer something more familiar.
Well, we are considering allowing some nondholes, and half dholes. But it should still be an Asiatic canine, not African, not European. I am also tempted to allow one or two tigers or leopards. If you want one of these characters drop me a line!
Can I haz magic?
No. You can gain skills, though. Feel free to come up with any number of quirky things; ventriloquism, acting, mountain climbing, etc. You can also pretend to have magic or gods talking to you, if you want.
